About All-Ukrainian Welfare Fund «Fishermen Community of Ukraine»

All-Ukrainian Charity Fund «Fishermen Community of Ukraine» was founded on December 20, 2006. This is the first, official registered, structural part of All-Ukrainian Fishing Association «Fishermen Community of Ukraine. Due to the Fund there is an opportunity to accumulate resources and funds for the further implementation of our activity main programs.

The Fund carries out its activity on the basis of the legitimacy, humanism and voluntarism. The main purpose of the Fund lies in the charity work carrying out directed at the popularization and development of the amateur and sport fishery, refereeing, fishing tourism, psychological, social and physical fishing rehabilitation, environment protection and antipoaching struggle and restoration of the live fish resources in Ukraine.

As one of its main programs the Fund acts as an initiator of All-Ukrainian Fishing Public Organization, founded for the unification of the fishermen in Ukraine to express their public opinion and protect legal rights and interests of the fishermen. Just the Association within the cooperation with the Fund carries out monitoring of the problematics, accumulates public thought on the basis of which the Fund determines priority and necessity of the charitable assistance to anybody in different matters.

The Fund informs the public about its programs and events continuously through publishing in the press permanently, while carrying out conferences and exhibitions, in the Internet, etc. Employees of the Fund carry out consultations on the matters of the Fund activity.

The Fund Management is carried out by the Fund Board. The Fund Management consists of the known fishing association activists and fighters for the environment protection, these are people who have recommended themselves for many years as honest and decent and moral representatives of the different public life areas , these are self-sufficient people who achieved a definite success in their lives and improve the world around us.

In Ukraine there always were and of course now there are benefactors and patrons who understand importance of the work, which we carry out. We believe in their unselfishness, but they – in our honesty, forces and capability of realizing all of the ideas and stated objectives.

The main program of All-Ukrainian Charity Fund «Fishermen Community of Ukraine» provides:

• Assistance in protection and safety of the fish resources in Ukraine , the whole structure of the reservoirs and places of the cultural recreation on the water;

• Giving help in the development scientific and technological potential in the field of the water live resources reproduction, capacity increasing and development of the researches in the field of the ichthyology and fish farming, cooperation with the mass media, popularizing fishing and fish farming in the whole;

• Assistance in the fishermen unification with the purpose of protecting their rights and interests in the struggle for the ecological fairness, participation of all citizens in the development, implementation and application of the legal acts, rules and regulations of the ecological and environmental state structures, and fair distribution of all the environment benefits and natural resources;

• Assistance in the popularization and development of the amateur and sport fishery, refereeing and fishing tourism as the best kinds of healthy and active lifestyle of the citizens, perfect ways of psychological, social and physical rehabilitation, carrying out of the individual, group, family and corporate rest through the unification with the nature and getting acquaintance with the variety of the flora and fauna world in the reservoirs of Ukraine, meant for hastening global nation rehabilitation.
